The club is only successful if we have people stepping up to help, and you can do that in many ways.

We need new members to the KWP Board of Directors, so nominate yourself or someone you know who has expressed an interest in running - simply Reply-All to this email to express your interest.

If you are new to the club but interested in possibly becoming a Director in the future, consider running for Member at Large.

The purpose of this meeting is to provide you with a short year-end update from each Board Director, and then to elect a new Board for 2023.

We are also looking for other volunteers, including:

• Someone to take on the MACKfest 2023 Lead, and volunteers to support that person.

• People interested in being a Trip Leader or Assistant Trip Leader.

• People wanting to participate in special interest subcommittees (For example, we need to update our club's constitution. We also want to consider the best uses of a WO grant we received this year. Other ideas from members are also welcome).

There are 7 Voting Board Members: To run for any of the first 6 positions, you need to be a KWP member for at least 1 year.

ALL positions are available to anyone interested in running for the Board...simply Reply-All to this email to express your interest:

1. President - Eric Chaplin is running for this position again, others are welcome to run if interested

2. Finance Director - Leah Kindree is  running for this position again, others are welcome to run if interested

3. Social Media and IT - Paul Delanardo is stepping down; Chris Varga is running for this position , others are welcome to run if interested

4. Secretary/Communications - Wayne Donison is running for this position again, others are welcome to run if interested

5. Membership -  Open position  -  Chris Varga is stepping down; Susan Vogelsang is running for this position, others are welcome to run if interested

6. Events Director - Open position - Nikita Zhang is stepping down; kristen Armitage is running for this position, others are welcome to run if interested

7. Member at Large - Open position - Chantal Leger is stepping down, DoYeon Lee is running for this position, others are welcome to run if interested

KWP Board Meetings are tentatively scheduled to happen by phone or computer approximately once every 6 weeks and last approximately 1-1/2 hours.
