Joint Club Paddle with GKC down the Elora Gorge
October 4 @ 11:00 am - 2:00 pm
If you have not paddled the Elora Gorge, this Fall paddle is for you. It is a scenic river trip with some fun play spots and rapids. Guelph Kayak Club (GKC) paddles this river weekly. They are a fun bunch to paddle with and welcoming to other club members joining them on the river.
We will meet-up at the put-in parking, at the baseball diamond at Elora Lions Park, on the south-east corner of Wellington Road #7 and Middlebrook Road. The shuttle will leave this parking lot at 11 am, dropping most vehicles off at the take-out. Good chance we will go for a late lunch after.
If you have the time, there is a neat biking route starting from the put-in, cycling along the gorge to the north side of the Tooth of Time. You can connect to the Elora Cataract Trailway, cycling through Elora to Fergus, and then on to Bellwood Lake.
